Featured: a new passport
I’ve just received my new passport in the mail. A new thing is that you need to submit not just a current photo, but also one from your childhood. I see that the photos on my passport are of someone else (though it is in my name)—she’s a girl I don’t know, but I know she’s from my elementary school, as the photo is from our yearbook back then. I had sent the yearbook page to them to use my photo, and they’d obviously used the wrong one. And to make matters worse, the girl is rather ugly.

I did recently get my passport renewed. Our elementary school did not have a yearbook. I have no idea who the girl is; she did not look the least bit familiar (but the photo totally looked like one from a yearbook back in the mid-1960s).
