Featured: A mac turning into a PC (Quelle horreur!)
My computer was acting all glitching, so I turned if off and back on. When I turned it on, it had wiped off everything I had ever loaded or written and—worst of all—it was now a PC!!! I was backed up and it was still on warranty so I thought it might turn out ok. But even looking at the PC made me very unhappy.

Context: Last night was clear, so we were going to go out to see the aurora if it got active. We set the alarm for wake-up every hour and a half, with the computer ready to check a webcam site and the prediction site. So the computer was very much on my mind, and I ended up with multiple separate dreams due to the alarm clock. My Mac Air had actually once done all this (except turn into a PC) so it is a fear based on reality.

I had a boyfriend but I totally neglected him. I didn't return his calls very often and didn't always remember he existed. I hadn't talked to him in several years so I thought I should call him and see if he was alive and still my boyfriend. He was French and seemed interested in a French woman so I don't think he was anymore. I wasn't upset about that, of course.

I do like young French guys a lot—having gotten to know many over the years—so my choice makes sense. However, back in my heterosexual days (i.e. before 19), I did have a striking indifference to my boyfriends, so this makes sense, also.

People: Angelina Jolie and Demi Moore (as objects of a discussion)
Featured: Jolie's leg and anorexia
I was talking to a group about the Oscars and we were discussing Jolie's leg. Someone said they thought she was anorexic. I said that, while she had a skinny leg, she didn't look anorexic to me compared to, say, Demi Moore. (Poor Demi.) But her knee looked very odd. Perhaps she had surgery on it? I was surprised that she wanted to show that knee.

Well, this is a very literal dream. And here is the knee.
I hadn't observed her knee that closely before, but you're right--it looks messed up. I was talking with a friend today, and we thought that Angelina is too smart to buy into all this posing stuff and we think she was playing a role. Especially on stage when she presented the award. Seemed completely tongue in cheek. But boy, did she ever stir up a shit-storm!
