Featured: Strauss is a jerk
Strauss was rehearsing with full orchestra a piece he written for two women's voices. One of the singers was Patricia Racette. I didn't know the other. Patricia had a problem at one point and asked to do it over (though the orchestra played over her request.) Strauss gave her a mean look and continued. Later at the end he said, "You don't stop the music; I do."
Annotation
Patricia Racette is a fairly famous soprano, often singing at the Met. Strauss did conduct as well as compose music. He didn't have a great reputation as a human being, but not this bad.
Second Dream
Type: Competition
Featured: Ice break-up as penalty.
There is some sort of cross-country Alaskan competition. If one of the entrants breaks any of the rules, they go to a sort of penalty box. It is basically a patch of ground with ice on it. They have to get rid of the ice before they can continue.

They have lots of competitions of all kinds here. And there is ice.
